The birth of an idea
Stories from women unable to find boots that fit sparked the idea for a brand designed from the outset for wide calves.
OUR STORY
Thinking of those we had forgotten.
Carmelyna was born from a simple observation: too many women were giving up on boots because they were simply not designed for their legs.
THE STARTING POINT
It all started with a few sentences:
"I don't know how to wear boots."
"Nothing zips up over my calves."
"My dream would be to be able to wear them."
At the end of 2022, after reading the same messages and comments time and again, it became clear: what seemed like an isolated request was actually a widely shared need. The idea of a brand designed from the start for women with wider calves then began to take shape.
It is not your legs that should adapt to the boots.
It is the boots that must adapt to you.
FROM IDEA TO LAUNCH
A history made of trials, adjustments, and conviction.
Creating Carmelyna was not a straight line. Each step helped refine the volumes, comfort, and the brand's promise.

Researching factories, selecting materials, studying volumes, body shapes, and fastenings: Carmelyna is finally moving past the idea stage.

PROTOTYPES
The first prototypes are arriving
The project is becoming a reality. The first models are arriving, bringing their fair share of excitement… and corrections to be made.
FEB 6, 2025
FITTING
The first attempt does not work.
The fasteners do not close properly and the measurements are not suitable. The volumes need to be reviewed and restarted.
MARCH 11, 2025
REVIEW
Rethink everything to start over better
Measurements, comfort, finishes, and closures are being completely re-evaluated. Nothing will be left to chance.

COLLECTION
The first collection is finally here
After months of testing, adjustments, and waiting, the final models for the first collection are arriving.

The collection comes to life, worn by women of different body types and showcased in several different settings.

Carmelyna reveals itself to the general public
The first drop is officially launched. After nearly three years of reflection, the story also becomes that of the customers.
THE FIRST FITTING
It didn’t work the first time. And fortunately so.
During the first fitting, none of the fastenings close properly. The proportions are not right, and the prototypes do not yet live up to Carmelyna's promise. So, rather than making compromises, everything is redone: measurements, proportions, comfort, fastenings, and finishes.

Carmelyna was not chosen at random. The name is a nod to someone who held an important place in the founders' lives and who is unfortunately no longer with them today.
A discreet way to keep a small part of her alive at the heart of an adventure she would have been proud to see grow.
